Two seven ink was brought on in March of 2016 to adapt an existing town approved duplex design to fit (3) new sites along the edge of a downtown park in Silt. We were able to adjust the interior layouts to better function for the homeowners while working within the existing footprint. Slight adjustments were incorporated to eliminate cost prohibitive structural elements & connections, allow the use of pre-cut studs, and frost protected shallow foundations where appropriate for the soils and topography. The success of these first 6 units has paved the way for a design partnership for 33 additional Habitat dwellings to date, with many more to come.
